Successful Big Mountain Battle at PCMR

Thanks to Park City Mountain Resort and Helly Hansen for hosting another exciting Big Mountain Battle on Saturday, March 24. This team-based event is open to all ages/levels and allows exploration of the entire mountain! Each team of two must visit a list of checkpoints, lifts, runs, and hikes around the mountain in a 3-hour time period. Every team will be given a course map and team card (you can download them from each venue page) and again, you will all be tracked by Flaik GPS.

The top three teams with the best times to complete all checkpoints, runs, and hill climbs receive awards, but the top team will win the biggest prize of all, $1000 in Helly Hansen Gear!
You can register in one of three categories: Intermediate, Advanced and 12 and under.

Despite finding that snowboards put us at a disadvantage, my teammate and I placed 3rd in the intermediate category with a time of three hours. We got these awesome medals and two Helly Hansen beanies. See you there next year!
