Backcountry.com Athletes to Sky Dive onto Distribution Center Roof on Monday

Sound exciting? Here's the official Backcountry.com press release information on the stunt.

Backcountry.com is aiming to shake things up a little in West Valley City on Monday morning. Unless, of course, you don’t think that skydiving from a helicopter onto the roof of a building, which happens to be in the direct landing path of Salt Lake International Airport, is exciting. Then maybe, for you, October 29 promises to be business as usual.

Granted, this is not as newsworthy as a 24-mile free fall from the edge of space, but we’re still pretty sure that our athletes, climber and B.A.S.E jumper Steph Davis, and B.A.S.E. jumper and skydiver Mario Richard, are going to stick the landing.

Why are we doing this?

1) We’re breaking in our new giant roof logo in style.
2) We’re celebrating our Backcountry.com employee culture in the best way we know how.
3) And we’re heading into Q4, our busiest time of year, with flare.
4) We’re worshipping fall: the season and the verb.

If you find yourself in West Valley on Monday morning, look for these two jumping out of a helicopter.
